After an unprecedented success chalked at the first time beach
rave in the “Obama City,” 411GH is set to re-write history in Cape Coast’s
entertainment life with the second edition of its flagship annual event, Shades
on Shorts.
If you were not a witness to the first edition of the
exclusive beach banger, then Saturday, the 25th of October, 2014 is
just the day you have always been waiting for. The luxurious Alberta’s Beach
Resort, located along the heartwarming coast of the Central Region, is in its
finest shape to re-host Cape Coast’s finest and most patronized beach event,
Shades on Shorts.
It just got better and all is set for the outdooring
ceremony of what 411GH describes as creativity’s first born.
What memories will Shades on Shorts engrave in your mind?
The organizers have exposed a blue print of the itinerary
for the blessed day and I am baffled at what is in the bag for us. It is mind
blowing….
A beach jam that commences with a street carnival? Yes, that
is how all of you who will be in shades over your shorts will begin the beach
party experience this year. The campus of the University of Cape Coast will be
the venue for the opener. Blocking some principal streets of the university,
the jam will begin, bringing together all party lover and starting a journey
that will end up at the shores of the Gulf of Guinea. It is certified and will
happen.
The struck of noon will be the beginning of the real deal.
Shades on Shorts Unleashed. Alberta’s Beach Resort will be filled with an
unmeasurable amount of beach jam experience. With DJ Richie, DJ BlacQawt, DJ
Sleek, DJ Fro and DJ Optional taking over the turn tables back to back, there is
no doubts how unavoidable the good music that fills the air will turn an empty
dance floor into one of the most packed locations in the event setup.

It is a day overflowing with drinks at no cost and just more
than enough to fill your belly throughout the jam that ends only at the break
of dawn. Be assured, there will never be a dull moment. Get your feet ready for
another huge beach eruption. Let your lips be sharpened to testify to the
prowess of an unforgettable event.
Accra is in no way going to be left out of the fun that will
fill Cape Coast on the 25th of October, 2014. There are more than
enough buses prepared to chauffer patrons straight on to the selected coastal
location to host the big rave. The about 2 hours’ drive would even be made much
enjoyable with a good police escort for the anticipated record making long convoy.
