August promises to be a lovely fun filled month for us who
are always on the move. Spying on social media, my eyes have caught on some
trending events that look very promising. Almost every single weekend in the 8th
month of the year is fully booked. Where will you be? That I do not know but let's see
what August has in stock for us...

Two huge events seem to be battling for the attention of “chillers”
to set them off for the month. Who wins the battle for the grand opening of
August?
Tidal Rave!!!
Ampe League!!!
When was the last time you got involved in those games you
used to play about a decade ago? Well Astros Park, Dzorwulu is the place to be
on the 2 day of August, 2014 for what promises to be an enchanting
maiden edition of Ampe League. Sponsored by 7Fold GH, organizers promise
patrons a fun packed yet a very educative event. Slated for the day is a talk
on Cervical Cancer amidst games from the ages (ampe, ludu, oware etc.).
Another well packed day. Two major creative events, one
first of its kind, the second a better version of the previous episodes.
Soccer Lounge!!!
Scheduled to take place at Ghana’s finest sporting arena, Lizzy’s
Sport Complex, East Legon, is another envisaged thrilling edition of Soccer
Lounge. Team Tiki says it is time to get your sporting gear set and join in the
biggest sports charity event for the month of August. This year’s edition of
Soccer Lounge is sponsored by Blue Jeans Energy Drink and supported by Kaymu
Online Shop. My feet are just ready to kick some footballs.
Inter-WhatsApp Group Nite Fiesta!!!
“A sensational night of feelings,” as the organizers describe
it, will be what the maiden edition of the Inter-WhatsApp Group Nite Fiesta will
be filled with. Scheduled to take place at Osu Hot Gossip, off the KFC Lane,
the event will bring together members of more than 20 WhatsApp groups to dance
away the night while socializing and making new acquaintances.

August cannot help it. It will put forth another two to-be exciting events on
this day.
Wet & Wild Pool Party!!!
The name just says it all. The event rated 18 is brought to
you by the organizers of well-patronized events Cross Over and Shades and
Shorts, Real Adventures. The event will be held at Oceanic Beach Resort located
inside Korle Gonno. After the jam at the pool, the party will be taken into the
plush Oceanic Night Club for part two of events listed for the day.
Touring GH for Wli & Afadjato!!!
For you who want to move outside the borders of the Greater
Accra Region, Touring GH are just prepared to meet your needs. The crew on the
23rd of August will storm Afadjato and Wli Water, a trip which promises to be
the best the tourism crew has ever given its followers. Be braced for what is
expected to be an adventurous, fun packed and breathe taking journey to the
Volta Region.
