Aqua Safari Resort |
Located
along the coastal lines of the Volta Lake is the town of Ada Foah, home to Fort
Kongenstein which was built by the Danes in 1783. Popularly known for their Asafotufiami
festival, tourists are now going to troop the area more often, not for the
annual festival but to visit the “new paradise.”
Ada Foah (origin of name: Ada Fort, village of
the fort) is going to be a hot tourist spot because it is the host of a plush
and stunning ship-shaped resort, Aqua Safari Resort.
Aqua
Safari is a two hour drive away from Ghana’s capital city, Accra, and the venue
of choice for a memorable experience of nature. In the midst of an eye catching
wildlife and green vegetation, the resort, which is a rare combination of sophistication
and relaxation, offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy comfort, convenience
and luxury in a serene environment whilst being delightfully treated to world
class hospitality services.
Aqua
Safari has 71 spacious and luxurious rooms and chalets, each equipped with
sleek and modern bathrooms, air conditioners and topnotch amenities including
Wi-Fi, Cable TV and a mini bar for visitors who opt to pass the night. The
rooms which exceed today’s standards have a spectacular aerial view of the pool
and the well nurtured vegetation.
With a highly
trained, professional, knowledgeable and well-uniformed staff, the resort
becomes even more accommodating when costumers are treated to a tasty variety
of continental and local dishes from the Al Carte Restaurant, whilst sipping on
drinks and cocktails from a well-stocked bar.
Adding up
to the experience on land, visitors have the opportunity to engage in various
water activities including jet skiing and a “cruise-tour” of the Volta Lake and
Ada estuary on speed boats or pantheons. Visitors also have the pleasure to opt
for a private cruise on the lake with the peddle boats.
